The 2014 International Martial Arts Festival (IMAF) was a complete success! Over 4500 people came from all over the world to compete and watch in the spirit of Good Will and Sportsmanship. In order to continue the traditions of excellence, and enhance your experience – we are moving the 2015 IMAF will be Broadcast Live from ESPN Wide World of Sports on October 18-11, 2015

The beginning of March of this year O’Sensei Shimabuku requested that I host the 2015 IWKA World Championships. I have secured a site and plans are underway.
WHEN: Thursday, August 6th – Saturday, August 8th, 2015.
WHERE: The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village, Princeton, New Jersey. All tournament activities will be on site, just one hour from the Newark or Philadelphia airport.

On behalf of the NZGKF and the Oceania Goju Ryu Karate Federation it is my pleasure to welcome you all to New Zealand for the next WGKF World Karate Championships. A special thank you to Sensei Lilian Kattan for organising the wonderful World Championship we have just had in the beautiful city of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Forty-five sport competitions — more than half are international in scope — are coming to Ontario from May 2014 to May 2015, offering a unique chance to get a taste of what’s to come at Games time.
Wheelchair rugby, water skiing, swimming, diving, volleyball, taekwondo, bowling and baseball are just some of the exciting competitions that are set to draw up to 12,000 athletes from across Canada and around the world, as well as thousands of spectators.
