First of all, I would like to start my message by expressing my appreciation to all of you for your warm support for our organization.
The competitors who will participate in the 11th World Championship, the highest level tournament in the Budo Karate world, will be decided very soon. Although we have recently focused the management of the organization on the inclusion of Full Contact Karate in the Olympic Games, if the ultimate stage for the sport aspect of Karate is the Olympic Games, then it can also be said that this World Championship, is the same for the Budo aspect of Karate, which acts as an opposite.

In the event this car park is full, visitors are advised to park in the nearby University of Worcester car park or City Council car parks. Full WTF rules to be applied, including full contact to the body and head shots for all age and skill groups The officials will be using Dae Do PSS, MA Score and Taekoplan competition scoring and management system to run the event; Dae Do PSS will be used for all A-Class groups and MA Score will be used for all B and C Class groups

The US Open was created as a promotional entity for karate tournaments and televised kickboxing events. Pro-Kick Productions purchased the US Open in 1984. It was 11 years old and 2015 will mark 42 years.

Started in 1973 by Ted Kresge – It was originally named The USKA East Coast Grand Nationals and was held each October in St. Petersburg Florida. I 1978 he changed the name to the US Open to attract more competitors than just the USKA membership.

He sold it to Charlie Brown in 1979 when he thought the world was coming to an end in 1980. Mike Sawyer and I, with help from a few others, ran the event for Charlie for 4 years until he sold it to us.
