More fantastic posts has come through for the sport of muaythai: the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has included Muaythai in the Asian Beach Games, set to occur in Phuket, Thailand, in 2014.

This will be the fourth of these prestigious games and will mark the second games event under the banner of the OCA that Muaythai has been included, the first being the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games.

To all Members, Clubs, Presidents, Boxers, Coaches and Muaythai lovers; It is with great pleasure and delight to invite you all to participate and attend the most exciting and highly anticipated Muaythai event in Europe the “European Muaythai Championship” 2014. The event will be hosted in Bucharest-Romania from 19 till 28 September 2014. Full info package available on request.

All competitors are expected to wear a clean white traditional Karate Gi WKF rules will apply with slight modifications gum shields are compulsory Only red and blue mitts will be allowed in competition red/blue shin/foot protectors are optional for 12yrs and under but are compulsory for 13yrs and above also red and blue belts need to be worn. All competitors must have an up to date licence/insurance.
