Promoter Tom Leffler said that he considers WBO/WBA/IBO/WBC heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) to be the best boxer in the world.
“Usyk can get every fighter. I think he is the best boxer in the world. He reached the heights not only in amateurs, winning the Olympic gold medal, but also became the undisputed champion in the first heavyweight division and then moved up to heavyweight.”
“He's fighting guys 30 or 40 pounds heavier than him who are at the peak of their careers. The way he was able to dominate AJ, the way he was able to beat Tyson Fury in the ring, like in pinball. You know, we haven't seen that in a very long time.”
