Table tennis team announces application for Euro 2024

The Ukrainian national table tennis team has announced its application for Euro 2024. The country will be represented by eight players in five different disciplines.
 
Men (singles): Yaroslav Zhmudenko, Mykyta Zavada, Anton Limonov, Andriy Grebenyuk;
Women (singles): Margarita Pesotskaya, Solomiya Brateiko, Veronika Matyunina, Anastasia Dimitrenko;
Men (doubles): Mykyta Zavada/Andriy Hrebenyuk, Yaroslav Zhmudenko/Anton Limonov;
Women's doubles: Veronika Matyunina/Solomia Brateiko, Anastasia Dimitrenko/Alexandra Chiriakova (Moldova);
Mixed (doubles): Anton Limonov / Solomiya Brateiko, Nikita Zavada / Veronika Matyunina.
Ukraine won its last medals at the European Table Tennis Championships in 2020: Margarita Pesotska won bronze medals in the individual event and Tetiana Bilenko/Hanna Gaponova won bronze medals in the doubles event.
 
Yaroslav Zhmudenko, Solomiya Brateiko, and Margarita Pesotska competed at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Zhmudenko and Brateiko were eliminated in the first round of the Games, while Pesotska lost in the second round.
 
The 2024 European Table Tennis Championships will be the 43rd in history. The competition will take place from October 15 to 20 in Linz, Austria.
