IBF heavyweight belt holder Daniel DuBois (21-2, 20 KOs) announced his readiness for a second face-to-face fight with former world champion Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs).
“The question is what happens next. We're planning what we're going to do now. I've heard that AJ wants to have a rematch. We'll see what happens. If he wants it, I want it too. We won that night, I was the better man, but I have no disrespect for him. I'm not going to throw mud at him, nothing like that will happen.
“I believe that a rematch with Joshua will be a positive step. The fight was exciting. I think it had everything the fans wanted to see. I'm even better if we fight again.”
In his last fight, which took place in London on September 21, Du Bois defeated Anthony Joshua. Daniel knocked AJ down three times and knocked out his opponent in the fifth round. Du Bois defended the IBF title, which he received after Oleksandr Usyk relinquished it.
The Joshua-Dubois fight set a new record for the number of viewers at a boxing match in the 21st century. The boxing night at Wembley Stadium in London was attended by 98,128 people.
