Former WBC heavyweight belt holder Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) said he will regain his world title in a rematch with WBO/WBA/IBO/WBC heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs).

Usyk and Fury signed an agreement for a second fight. The Gypsy King has officially activated the revenge option. The second fight between Oleksandr and Tyson will take place on December 21, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman said he would seek the introduction of video replays in this fight. Oleksandr Usyk will be preparing for the rematch in a training camp in Valencia. Tyson Fury said he would start training six to seven weeks before the fight.
