WBA Regular champion Manuel Charr has agreed on a new date for his fight against WBA International titleholder Kubrat Pulev. The fight will take place in the Bulgarian capital Sofia on December 7.
Charr was supposed to fight Pulev on March 30. However, the German boxer was injured before the fight and underwent biceps surgery.
In the March fight, Charr was replaced by Ukrainian Ihor Shevadzutskiy. Pulev defeated the Ukrainian boxer by a judges' decision and won the WBA International title.
The WBA appointed Charr as a regular world champion, giving the title that was held by the British Daniel Dubois. The WBA obliged Charr to fight the fifth-ranked Jarred Miller, but the event also did not take place.
