Ukrainian track and field athlete Artur Felfner will still compete in the Diamond League season finale.
Initially, the Ukrainian was ranked seventh in the final ranking. However, the organizers decided to increase the quota from six to eight finalists. Thus, in addition to Felfner, local athlete Timothy Herman will also go to Belgium.
As a reminder, Ukrainians Yaroslava Maguchikh and Iryna Gerashchenko will compete in the Diamond League super final (September 13-14 in Brussels) in the high jump. High jumper Oleh Doroshchuk will also represent Ukraine in Brussels.
The men's javelin final in Brussels will take place on the second day of the competition, September 14. The start is scheduled for 19:22 Kyiv time.
