It is our pleasure to invite you to this, the 3rd annual Seminar with Toshishiro Obata Kaiso, founder of Shinkendo and SoShihan of the Aikibujutsu Tanren Kenkyukai.

Sensei Obata is perhaps most famously known for his role as Shredder’s hence man, Tatsu, from the 80s classic, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Sensei Obata is an authentic martial arts master having been, in his youth, an apprentice under the late Aikido Master, Gozo Shioda, and the late military swords master, Nakamura Taizaburo. In total Sensei Obata has just over 75 Dan grades from various martial arts master.

This seminar, due to be held in Leon Leisure Centre (Bletchley, Milton Keynes) will be fully certificated by Sensei. The seminar is open to practitioners of all styles, and will be sub-divided between beginners and advanced practitioners alike. The core martial arts being taught will be:
