It is a real pleasure to address all participants in this 8thCommonwealth Karate Championship in New Delhi, India. I attended the event last year 2013 in Canada, and committed my presence in India once more in 2014 not only to directly express the support of the World Karate Federation to the Commonwealth Karate community, but also and at the time to the Karate Association of India and its leadership for the standing job that they are performing to develop the huge potential that rate has in India

The CKF EC hopes that in addition to the challenge of competition, you will find some time to explore the great city of New Delhi and its surrounding area, and that you will have an enjoyable experience in India.

It is important to recognise and acknowledge the National Federations participating in the 2015 Commonwealth Karate Championships. Again, the success of the KF is due to your support. I personally thank you for your on-going contribution to karate in the Commonwealth.

Finally, I take this opportunity to wish all participants and coaches success at this important event. The CKF EC is looking forward to seeing your wonderful talent and determination on the tatami.
