Grand Masters, Masters, Instructors and Students:
We are happy to invite you to the 21st Annual Northwoods Conquest on
February 28, 2015. The tournament will again be held at the Cumberland
Middle School gymnasium at 980 8th Avenue, Cumberland, WI.
Sparring: Sparring will be judged under modified WTF rules. Competitors
must provide their own gloves (gloves optional for those wearing forearm
pads), mouth guard, and shin/instep pads. Male competitors must also
provide their own groin protection. Headgear and chest protection will be
provided for those that do not have their own. Instructors: Any sparring
equipment that you can provide for the day will be greatly appreciated.
Forms: Scored on a 5 – 10 point base.

Team Forms / Demonstrations: (forms, weapons, self defense
demonstrations, etc.) Any two-person teams may compete. If any music or
sound effects are required, please provide your own equipment.
Weapons: Youth and adults are invited to compete.
Breaking: Divisions and difficulty according to rank / size / age.
Submission Grappling: Divisions by age / size / experience, including
youth division. Divisions for Gi and no-Gi. One 5-minute round, with a 3-
minute overtime if no submission is achieved. No striking allowed.
Entry Fees: Pre-registration rate only $40 for one or all events, if
registered by Feb 21st. Registration $50 after Feb 21st. Mail pre-registration
forms and payment to Northwoods TKD, PO Box 131, Hayward, WI 54843. On-Site Registration: 9am – 11am. Tournament begins at 11am.
