Registration Begins: 8:30 a.m. Black Belt Meeting: 9:45 a.m.
Tournament Starts at 10:00 a.m. with the National Anthem, Demo Team Competition.
Followed by Adult Black Belt Kata & Youth Weapons.
Tournament Fees: $55.00 for 1 or 2 Events; $5.00 for each additional event
USAMA Member Discounts: Register by September 26th (Postmarked by Sept. 26th)
receive $10.00 Off individual competitor fee; or $5.00 Off at Door
Demo Teams: $75.00 per Team
Spectators: $5.00 (4 & under FREE)
Adult Black Belt NMSKA members who attend Black Belt Meeting
and Judge receive $20.00 Discount.

Trophies: Beautiful Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place Winners. Medals for 4th place Winners. USAMA
points awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th place Winners in All Individual Events! Medals for all
youth kata competitors. Trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Demo Teams.
Grand Champion Trophies:
Beautiful Grand Champion Trophies for Black Belt Forms, Black Belt Men Sparring, Black
Belt Women Sparring, Adult Kyu Forms, and Junior Beg., Int. & Adv. Forms. All First place
Forms Winners qualify to compete for Grand Champion Awards in the afternoon.
Equipment: Traditional uniforms for forms, sparring, weapons, & koshiki (must cover elbows)
Foam Safety equipment (head, hands, feet) is required for all Sparring divisions. All Sparring,
Chanbara, TDS, and Koshiki divisions require mouthpieces for all competitors, and Groin
protection for all male competitors. TDS competitors must wear approved caged headgear,
rash guard, open hand gloves, shin guards, and sport bra for all female competitors
