Central Training Camp Introduction

Period of the training camp: 1 * 7 days

Start: 25th / August / 2014
End: 31st / August / 2014

Location of the training camp: Dabas, Hungary

The goal of the camp:

To handover the basic technical knowledge of KyoNewaza to Country Representatives, Senior Instructors, Region Leaders and Instructors. Afterwards the education of this knowledge begins in their countries and they start spreading KyoNewaza globally.

Temporal structure of the training camp (periods, turns, stages):

Saturday (-1st day):
Acclimatizing day.
Occupation of accomodations.
Sightseeing tour in Budapest.
In the evening: free-time activity in the sport centre.

Sunday (Zero day):
Occupation of accomodations.
Opening the training camp – 17.00: Opening ceremony

Monday (1st day)
Start of KyoNewaza trainings.

Daily routine:
8.00 – 9.00 – breakfast
10.00 – 11.30 – 1st training
12.00 – 13.00 – lunch
14.30 – 16.00 – 2nd training
17.30 – 18.30 – dinner
20.00 – 21.30 – 3rd training
22.00 – 01.00 – free-time activity

Days of trainings will be held as follows:

Calendar days of training camp
1st run – 25, 26, 27
2nd run – 28, 29, 30
Examination – 30
3rd run – KyoNewaza Special Training day, Referee Training, Preparing for championship – 31

After completing the 4 runs, participants can take the knowledge of KyoNewaza basic techniques.
Every single run’s training material includes the entire KyoNewaza basic techniques, from different point of view, giving an insight from several technical aspects.

Main stages of trainings of KyoNewaza basic techniques

•       Takedowns
•       Dominant positions
•       Sweeps
•       Submissions

Each stage includes several different techniques (will be detailed later in the thematical description.).

In the camp all the participants will get the description of KyoNewaza basic techniques.
The difference of the runs is coming from that certain KyoNewaza basic techniques are being instructed in different ground fight techniques in certain runs.

KyoNewaza Special Training day:
The 4th run includes ground-fight strategical training.
Besides the ground-fight strategical training of the 4th run, it includes all the essential rollings, bowling motions and important position changes, too.

Referee Training:
Whereas the participants formed a comprehensive image of the KyoNewaza Submission System in the 3rd run, the training of the referees of prospective KyoNewaza championships gets started.

Preparing for championship:
Practice of fights of participants with racing ambitions, analysis of competitive situations. Practice of 5 - minute rounds used in KyoNewaza Championships, divided into 3+2 minutes (3 minutes of Only Submission +2 minutes of „rules of points”)with the participation of prospective referees trained in the training camp.

Examination:
Examinations at the end of the runs provide an opportunity for the participants to take a belt – exam based on the knowledge they have taken. Participants will be surveyed on the final training of the day of the examination.

Free-Time Activity:
In the evenings between 22.00 and 01.00 o’clock there will be a possibility for extra trainings and for regeneration in the Sports Centre.

Services: gym, cardio machines, squash, swimming-pool (32 Celsius degrees), jacuzzi, sauna, infra sauna, salt cabin, steam cabin, bowling alley, cafe, restaurant.

Sayonara Party:
The training camp is going to be finished with a farewell party.
