17th European Championship here in Cyprus and his spirit to join all of us, to make this the most Successful WIKF European Championships in his honor.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Marios Vatiliotis, Mr. Marios Sakkis, Mr. George Mavrommatis, Mr. Soteris Zinonos and the Cyprus WIKF organizing committee for hosting our 17th European Championships. I've known from past experience what hard work organizing these
Championships involves.
A big thank you to all Referees, time keepers and table officials etc. for their help and time during
this event, who I know are sometimes taking for granted during these events, but without their
efforts the tournament would not take place.
I wish all participants every success in this Competition, please remember there can only be a
few winners, but it's not all about winning it's the taking part with the true WIKF spirit, one
special Wado Kokusai Family.
