Entry Cost is $40 for any number of events per competitor.

All ages as at 31 Dec 2014

Age groups

Juniors - Under 12 years

Colts - 12 to 17 years

Womens / Mens - 18 to 39 years

Masters - 40 years and over.


Weight Divisions

Womens Lightweight - Under 60kg

Womens Heavyweight - 60kg and over

Mens Lightweight - Under 65kg

Mens Middleweight - 65 to 74.9kg

Mens Heavyweight - 75kg and over

 

3-1 Kyu competitors who place 1st or 2nd in the Kyu Grade events will have the option to compete in the Dan Grade events.

For Kata events:

Shitei = Kata selected at random from the list by the Chief Judge

Sentei = Kata chosen by the competitor from the list

Tokui = Free selection of any Kata by the competitor

Kumite competitors who are knocked out in the semi-final rounds will be awarded equal 3rd place (there is no play-off for 3rd)

For Kumite events, competitors 50 years and over must provide a medical certificate to the Tournament Organisers certifying that they are fit before being eligible to compete. The certificate must not be more than 60 days old and should be presented to the organisers by no later than 9am on the day of competition.

All competitors with medic alert must report to the Tournament Doctor prior to competing to allow the Doctor to familiarise themselves with any special medical needs.

All Team Kumite events are only to have 3 competitors per team.

All Team Kata events are 1 team per DOJO.

Events may be changed or combined depending on the number of entrants.
